Cut and shaped to resemble the popular filet mignon, our Australian Wagyu New York Strip Filets have all that fabulous flavor of a NY Strip, in an easy to handle 8 oz. size and very elegant presentation. The perfect steaks for a romantic dinner!

At Marble Score 5 (in the 1 to 12 scale), this Kobe-style Filet Steak is rich and buttery, beautifully marbled throughout with that mouthwatering creamy intramuscular fat. Marbling means flavor, and this much marbling means rich, creamy flavor and incredible, butter-knife soft texture that just melts in your mouth.

Imported from Australia, the cattle comes from the same breeds used for the famed Japanese Kobe beef, raised 18 months free range, then finished with a special Japanese formulation of grain for 360 days to ensure that fantastic tenderness.

Grilling advice: We suggest that you cook on a grill pan rather than an open flame, as that extra fat marbling on Wagyu beef will melt over the grill and may cause flare-ups.
